Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Tula
The Chicago Tula downed the Caldwell Chiefs, 7-4. The hitting star was right fielder Donnie Williams. Williams went 4 for 5 with 4 singles for the Tula. Reliever Mark Jackson picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Robin Andrews took the loss. Today's win puts Chicago at 21-23, while Caldwell falls to 18-26.

Chicago used the timely hitting of Bake McBride to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Tula on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Williams told the Chicago Gazette.
