Blue Dragons Upend Blaze, 4-1
|
Starting pitcher Carl Rogers was a major factor in the 4-1 Levittown Blue Dragons triumph over the South Beach Blaze. The win has Levittown at 15-27.
William Shepard had a big hit for Levittown in the top of the third inning. With Levittown leading 2-0, Shepard hit a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Blue Dragons up, 4-0.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Shepard. "And not try to do too much."
