Starting pitcher Luis Castillo was a major factor in the 10-2 Washington Generals triumph over the Laredo Hawks. In 6 innings, Castillo surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 5. He allowed 2 runs. Manny Martínez got credit for the save for Washington. It was his 1st of the year.
