The Washington Generals trumped the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 7-4, at The Shell. Washington catcher Steve Koch was terrific. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Enrique Montoya snagged the win in relief. In 4 innings, the right-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits. He's now 4-0 on the season. The win elevated the Generals to 38-36.

Early in the game, Koch had a 3-run home run for Washington. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Generals on top, 4-2.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Koch.
