Yucca Valley Hot Streak Continues with 8-7 Win
The Yucca Valley Yellows overcame a fine performance by Delmarva pinch hitter Dwayne Woollams to defeat the Gallos, 8-7, at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. Woollams went 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Guo-ning Wang snagged the win in relief. In 2 innings, the left-hander allowed no runs on no hits. He's now 3-0 on the season. Picking up the save was Javier Rúbio, his 1st.

Yucca Valley took a 8-6 lead on Félix Gonzáles's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Delmarva pitcher Zayn Reddy in the bottom of the seventh.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Yucca Valley manager Santiago Rigney.
