The Yucca Valley Yellows topped the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 9-2, in USSL Single A action at The Cocoon. The game was highlighted by the performance of Yucca Valley pitcher Hang-ki Cong. The losing streak for Grand Forks has now reached 4 games.

Yucca Valley used the clutch hitting of Okakura Samurakami to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Yellows the lead, 2-1. For the game, Samurakami had 1 single and 2 doubles in 4 at-bats.
