Seahawks Prevail, 1-0, Over Chicago

Ken Wright pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Chicago Tula, despite Wright's fine outing, dropped a 1-0 decision to the Myrtle Beach Seahawks at Ramblers Ballpark. Tony Wilson earned the save, his 1st. The loss has the Tula at 2-4.
It could have been a different outcome for Myrtle Beach, had it not been for Joshua Sheppard, the former first round draft pick . Sheppard contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Myrtle Beach up, 1-0.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Myrtle Beach manager Omer van Osch said.
