Godfathers Snatch Late Win
The Pontiac Godfathers trumped the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 8-5, at The Cocoon. Pontiac second baseman Nick Christensen was terrific. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. The win makes Pontiac 23-37.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when right fielder Christian Harris, who is tied for 5th in the SA in bases on balls with 36, hit a triple. The Godfathers went on to win.

"We maximized our offense today," said Pontiac skipper Júlio Villegas. "That makes everyone's life easier."
