Seahawks Spoil Opening Day for Blue Dragons, Their Fans
Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Levittown Blue Dragons home opener. Li-zhi Lai started for the home team against Valentín Jiménez for the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. The Blue Dragons were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 5-1, Myrtle Beach. Li-zhi Lai, though, was impressive.

Myrtle Beach used the timely hitting of Héctor García to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Seahawks on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I felt good up there," said García. "I saw the ball well."
