Laredo picked up a win at Hawks Field, toppling the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 7-5. Pitcher Kevin Horton was one of the reasons the Hawks triumphed. Bastien Martinez finished to wrap up his 12th save. With the win, Laredo raised its record to 26-25.

Matsusuke Saikawa helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run double. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Hawks.

"We played hard and won," said Horton. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
