In a tight contest at Pontiac Copperdome, the Yucca Valley Yellows edged the Pontiac Godfathers by the score of 6-5. Yucca Valley designated hitter Lynn Flanagan, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The save was credited to Edemona Babitu, his 2nd. Pontiac has now lost 4 straight.

With Yucca Valley leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Flanagan hit a cutter from Connor Beresford for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Yellows ahead, 4-0.
