Le Helps Washington Cruise to 10-3 Win
The Washington Generals beat the Yucca Valley Yellows, 10-3, at Ballpark of Yucca Valley. Shi-ping Le, in particular, was impressive. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 4 and driving in 3. Brian Campbell got the win, improving to 8-2. He worked 7.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Washington goes to 26-22, Yucca Valley to 26-22.

In the top of the first, Le pounced on a first pitch cutter from Sun-ho Yang and hit a 2-run home run. It put Washington on top, 2-0.

"Shi-ping is still learning," said Generals manager Nick Hoskins. "The sky's the limit for him."
