The Delmarva Gallos got a stellar performance from pitcher Kevin Brown, who handcuffed the Monroeville offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium. Brown, now 4-2, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. With the win, Delmarva upped its record to 25-19.

Delmarva used the timely hitting of Gavrie Germashev to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Gallos ahead, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
