Yellows Come Up Short at Delmarva, 2-1
In a low-scoring game between Delmarva and Yucca Valley, pitcher Walt Middleton was excellent. The Delmarva left-hander helped his team knock off the Yellows, 2-1. Delmarva reliever Dan Kennedy picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Hang-ki Cong shouldered the loss. With the victory, the Gallos upped their record to 24-18.

With no one out in the bottom of the seventh, Melvin Barnett had a game-changing hit. The Gallos first baseman slammed a run-scoring single off Hang-ki Cong, making the score 2-1, Delmarva.

"Winning never gets dull," said Barnett.
