The Delmarva Gallos beat the Laredo Hawks, 7-4, at The Cage. The win was due in part to third baseman Mito Kawamura, who was 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Zayn Reddy, 1-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. The Gallos move to 18-16 with the win, while the Hawks drop to 18-16.

Delmarva took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Melvin Barnett stroked a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Gallos.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Barnett said.
