Cut Off rode a decent outing from starter Bill Draper to victory over the Alameda Airmen. The final score was 6-4. The winner in relief was Jason Tipton. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. He now owns a record of 2-1. Cut Off raised its record to 50-44 with the win.

The Crawdads used some clutch hitting to beat the Airmen, a good example being the at-bat of Rick Wilson in the top of the 12th. With two down, Wilson gave his team the lead, 5-4, when he hit a run-scoring single.
