Kent turned a good effort from starter Sun Tah into a win over the Mancelona Torch at Fuller Park. The final score was 3-1. Tah got the win, improving to 3-1. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Tah allowed 1 run. Cédric Barbot, credited with the save, is now 7 for 7 in save opportunities.

The Comets got an important contribution from first baseman Rick MacIlleriach, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 1-2 slider into center for a 2-run double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Comets ahead, 2-1.
