Luis Barrios pitched well, but the Smoky Mountain Hobeaus still lost the game, falling 1-0 to the Put-In-Bay Commodores at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. The winner was Put-In-Bay reliever Bernardo Hernández, now 1-0. The loser was Luis Barrios.

Put-In-Bay took a 1-0 lead on Trent Terry's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Terry hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Smoky Mountain pitcher Luis Barrios visibly frustrated.

Terry called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
