Alameda Gets 6-3 Win
The Alameda Airmen topped the Mancelona Torch, 6-3, in M3L Single A action at Torch Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Alameda second baseman Guan-cai Khoo. Urmas Koskela earned the win for Alameda. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 6-1. The win elevated the Airmen to 41-40.

Alameda used a clutch hit from Shawn Maldonado to get the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Airmen ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We did a lot of things right," said Maldonado.
