Cut Off and Kent duked it out and the Crawdads came out victorious.
The inspired effort of Kent catcher Christian Ford was not enough to prevent a loss, 5-3, to the Cut Off Crawdads. Ford was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The 5th-place Crawdads have a record of 40-38.
Early in the game, catcher Joaquim Estao had a run-scoring double for Cut Off. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Crawdads on top, 1-0.
Estao said his team "played with focus."
