Hobeaus Suffer 4-1 Loss to Generals
|
The Washington Generals got a stellar performance from pitcher Luis Castillo, who handcuffed the Smoky Mountain offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Washington Park. The loss drops the Hobeaus to 5-3.
Making an impact for the home team was Jim Hanson. In the bottom of the third, the 23-year old first baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 2-0, Generals.
Castillo called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
