Riding the 3-hit performance of the fan favorite Jaime Espinar, the Long Island Lighthouse stopped the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 4-2. Lloyd Natoff was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 25 save opportunities. The win has Long Island at 43-65.

The Lighthouse got a big at-bat from third baseman Jonas van Claveren. For the game, van Claveren went 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Long Island a 2-1 lead.

van Claveren told a Long Island Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
