Kent starter Al Moore pitched well against the Niagara Falls Expos at Fuller Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. With the win, Kent pushed its record to 41-21.

The Comets got an important contribution from designated hitter Aaron Carter, who in the bottom of the second punched a 2-2 slider into left for a 2-run double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Comets ahead, 4-1.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Carter said after the game.
