The Cut Off Crawdads defeated the Mancelona Torch, 5-3, in M3L Single A action at Crawdads Field. Cut Off pitcher Fraser Chambers had a standout performance. Jeff Lynch earned the save for Cut Off, his 10th. The Torch, at 39-23, have lost 5 in a row.

Cut Off right fielder Wu-ti Huang contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a cutter into center field for a 2-run single. It was his 39th hit of the season and put the Crawdads ahead, 5-0.
