The Kent Comets defeated the Kingston Mangos, 2-0, in M3L Single A action at Fuller Park. Kent pitcher Sun Tah had a standout performance. John Palmer was credited with the save for Kent, his 8th of the season. With the victory, the Comets upped their record to 36-19.

Christian Ford, the Kent catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third inning to make the score 1-0, Comets. For the game, Ford was 1 for 3 with a walk.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ford. "And not try to do too much."
