The home crowd had a good time watching the Hollywood Shredders and Boston Patriots get after it.

In the 13-3 Boston win over Hollywood, the impact of Juan Lugo was substantial. Lugo, who finished 5th in the PL in stolen bases with 41 last year, went 4-6 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Luke Corner got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings.

In the bottom of the second, Carlos Rivera hit a 2-run double. The 4th double of the season for the Boston third baseman put the Patriots on top, 3-2.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Lugo.

The win lifts Boston to a record of 6-4.
