Minnesota catcher Jorge Pedroso helped his team beat the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 7-2. Pedroso went 2 for 3 for the Loons. Minnesota pitcher Todd James got the win. He's now 5-3. Carlos Pagán was tagged with the loss. With the win, Minnesota pushed its record to 37-28.

Minnesota took a 6-2 lead on Pedroso's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Carlos Pagán in the top of the sixth, propelled Minnesota to the win.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Minnesota manager Steve Duncan.
