The 8-2 Ft. Polk South win over Olympia was due in large part to Anton Zdravomyslov. The Thunder Hawks right fielder was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Ft. Polk South is now 15-24, while Olympia is 16-23.

Ft. Polk South used the bat of Danny McElroy to get the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Thunder Hawks ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"It was a solid team effort," said McElroy after the game.
