Eclipse Fall Short, 6-5, at Providence

The Providence Pilgrims and Northville Eclipse obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.
Providence starter Mark Hogan pitched well against the Northville Eclipse at Field of Plenty. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-5. Hogan got the win, improving to 4-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. Hogan allowed 1 run.
The game hit a turning point in the bottom of the third inning, when the Pilgrims were trailing 1-0. Brody King delivered a two-out 2-run single for Providence, catapulting his team into the lead.
"We found a way to get it done," King said.
The victory makes Providence 13-25.
