The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

Nuevo Mexico picked up a win at Mariachi Band Shell, bumping off the Richland Rails, 4-3. Pitcher Floyd Emery was a major reason the Mariachis emerged victorious. Nuevo Mexico pitcher Sancho Altagracia got the win. He's now 1-1. Mochihito Sato was tagged with the loss.

Kichibei Kawaguchi was the walk-off hero for Nuevo Mexico. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mariachis center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Mariachis manager Gus Gibbs. "This one was nice to get."

With the win, the Mariachis improved to 13-18.
