Ogres RF Sato goes 3-for-4 in Win
|
The Olympia Ogres downed the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 6-0. The hitting star was right fielder Ken'ichi Sato. Sato was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Ogres. Tim O'Heyne, the winning pitcher, is now 2-1. He went 6.1 innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit, while fanning 5 and walking 7. The Ogres now have a record of 11-13 with the win over Mercer Island.
Sato made an early impact for Olympia when he stroked his 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Ogres on top, 3-0.
