The Olympia Ogres defeated the Bethesda Atoms, 7-6, in USPL Double A action at Atoms Field. Olympia pitcher Dylan Kempink had a standout performance. Olympia reliever Erik Walton picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Joe Boyle took the loss. The Atoms fall to 8-12 and continue their uneven start to the 2047 season.
It could have been a different outcome for Olympia, had it not been for Pedro Bravo, the 23-year old catcher . Bravo contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Olympia up, 1-0.
"We found a way to get it done," Kempink said.
