The Minnesota Loons picked up a win at Loony Bin, taking down the Richland Rails, 4-2. Starting pitcher Reynaldo Vázquez was a big reason why. Vázquez went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 9. His record improves to 1-0. George Murray collected save number 1.

An impactful at-bat came in the bottom of the fourth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the batter, Sonny Day, reached on an error by the left fielder, driving in 1 run. It made the score 1-0, Minnesota, and helped them go on to win.
