The Tacoma Fur Traders took Billings pitcher León Morán's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Igloo. The final score had Tacoma getting past the Polar Bears, 4-3. Morán went 7.2 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 3. Pedro Garza earned the save for Tacoma, his 10th of the year. The Fur Traders raised their record to 37-55.

Tacoma used the timely hitting of Nathan Polkinghorne to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Fur Traders ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Billings manager Marvin Nelson. "The effort was great."
