Cangrejos Fantasmas Get Past Virginia Beach for 5-4 Win
The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.

The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas picked up a win at Ghost Crab Park, knocking off the Virginia Beach Whales, 5-4. On the mound for Chesapeake was right-hander Herman Overwater, who played a pivotal role in the win. Chesapeake reliever Sidd Finch was the winner. His record is now 3-3. Bill Gould took the loss.

Orlando Yerro was the walk-off hero for Chesapeake. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cangrejos Fantasmas pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"We did enough to win," said Overwater.

Chesapeake is now riding a 4-game win streak.
