Behind an impressive start by Juan Pujol, Marquette beat Billings, 4-1. Picking up the save was Jong-beom Park, his 18th. The Miners now have a mark of 30-40.
Marquette used the clutch hitting of Al Stabb to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Miners ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Pujol.
