Saboteurs Snatch Late Win
The Billings Polar Bears went down to defeat to Yuan Thian and his Toledo teammates. The final score was 4-1 in favor of the Saboteurs. Thian, now 4-5, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Jim Hicks finished the game for Toledo and earned his 14th save.

Toledo relied on the bat of Tom Scroby to get the win. The second baseman ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Saboteurs ahead, 2-1. For the game, Scroby had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Toledo skipper Will Thomas.

At 35-32, the Saboteurs claim third place in the Silver AA.
