Toledo Hot Streak Continues with 6-4 Win
The Toledo Saboteurs topped the Barton Springs Blues by the score of 6-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Xie-li Shiu. Shiu went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Saboteurs on the day. Toledo reliever Darwin McGinnity got the win, raising his record to 4-3. Harley Hawk was tagged with the loss. Earning his 13th save for Toledo was Jim Hicks.

Tom Scroby, who is tied for 7th in the SAA in doubles with 18, aided the Toledo cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the second baseman went 4-4 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We played hard and won," said Shiu. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'

Toledo now has a record of 34-30 with the win.
