The Toledo Saboteurs defeated the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 8-2, at Mobile Home Park. Toledo second baseman Tom Scroby had a superb performance. He was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The winning pitcher was Steve Sanford. He's now 3-4. He went 8.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Saboteurs. Toledo currently is in 6th place in the Silver AA at 27-29.

Scroby made an early impact for Toledo when he stroked his 13th double of the season. The 2-run double, which came in the top of the first, put the Saboteurs on top, 2-0.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Scroby said after the game.
