Leviathan Lose Again, 5-3, to Patriots
Another game, another loss for the struggling Nova Scotia Leviathan.

Nova Scotia left fielder Benno Luby had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Luby was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once, even as Boston beat the Leviathan, 5-3. Robert Smalls notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record now sits at 2-2. Bertrand Scotton nailed down his 2nd save.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Tony Parra? The Boston left fielder had a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Patriots on top, 4-1. For the game, Parra had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"We take it day by day here," said Parra, "and today was a good one for us."

The losses continue to mount for Nova Scotia, which has now dropped 8 in a row.
