11-6 Loss Extends Billings Losing Streak
The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs topped the Billings Polar Bears by the score of 11-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Charles MacMurdo. MacMurdo was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Guinea Pigs on the day. Gwinnett has now won 4 straight.

In the first inning, MacMurdo had a 2-run home run for Gwinnett. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Guinea Pigs on top, 2-0.
