The Toledo Saboteurs beat the Squirrel Hill Pierogis, 9-4, at Toledo Backyard Park. Mario Torres, in particular, was impressive. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. With their winning streak at 4, the Saboteurs have raced to a strong start this season.

In the bottom of the sixth, with Toledo leading 4-2, Ron Buchanan hit a sinker from Bhunandana Lecamwasam for a 2-run single, giving the Saboteurs the lead, 6-2.
