Polar Bears Deal Cangrejos Fantasmas 4-1 Defeat
The Billings Polar Bears topped the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas by a score of 4-1. Leading the way was third baseman Román Ayala. Ayala was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI for the Polar Bears. Juan Hernández picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Raúl Abreu was tagged with the loss. Edward Pritchard recorded the save for Billings, his 4th of the season.

Billings took a 3-1 lead on Ayala's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Raúl Abreu in the top of the sixth, propelled Billings to the win.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Billings manager Marvin Nelson.

With the win, Billings improves its record to 8-6.
