The 2047 season did not get off to quite the start the Kent Comets had hoped, with an opening day loss to the Cut Off Crawdads at Fuller Park. The final score was 4-0. Starting Pitcher Young-jae Chong was the top performer for Cut Off. Chong, now 1-0, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing no runs.
