Polar Bears Beat Saboteurs, 8-4
The Billings Polar Bears topped the Toledo Saboteurs, 8-4, in USSL Double A action at The Igloo. The standout performance belonged to Billings pitcher and Granger, Indiana, native Will Bass. Bass, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 1 and giving up 3 walks. Jun-suk Sin nailed down his 1st save.

Billings left fielder Ramiro Curran contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball into right field for a 2-run single. It was his 14th hit of the season and put the Polar Bears ahead, 4-1.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Billings skipper Marvin Nelson.

With the win, Billings elevates its record to 6-5.
