Crescent City starter Melvin Riley pitched well against the St. Petersburg Thunder at Field of the Krewe. The right-hander led his team to a win, 1-0. Crescent City reliever Lewis Goodman got the win, raising his record to 5-1. Domingo Galló was tagged with the loss. Crescent City raised its record to 53-36 with the win.

Ronald Caldwell was the walk-off hero for Crescent City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Krewe left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Caldwell said.
