Krewe Win Streak Reaches 13
|
Crescent City Krewe starter Dave Farris was in fine form against the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats at Heron Field, leading his team to a win, 6-2. Crescent City has now reeled off 13 straight wins.
Crescent City used a well-timed hit by Adam Bisset to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Krewe ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.
"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Farris told the Crescent City Herald. "You win just by scoring more runs."
