Love Boats Pull Even With 3-1 Victory
The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats had to overcome a fine performance from Ottawa pitcher Raúl Martínez to grab a 3-1 win at Nationals Park. Martínez allowed 3 runs over 7 innings. Dave Peters got the win, improving to 3-6. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 3 hits and 1 run, while striking out 4 and walking 3. Lake Minnetonka now sits in 6th place in the Menard's AA at 37-37.

Lake Minnetonka used the bat of Mi-yuan Gan to capture the win. The designated hitter jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Love Boats ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

Gan called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
