Águila Hits Two Dingers, Leviathan Win, 8-4
The Nova Scotia Leviathan topped the Hollywood Shredders, 8-4, with right fielder Ricardo Águila playing a big role. Águila was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for the Leviathan in the win. Max van Capelleveen earned the win to go to 3-6. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts in 8.1 innings of work. With the victory, the Leviathan record now stands at 37-40.

Águila contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Nova Scotia in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 4-2, Águila took a changeup from Gian-Carlo Maneilli and stroked the home run to left. His 8th home run of the season allowed the Leviathan to leap in front, 5-4.
