The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats picked up a win at Heron Field, knocking off the Irving Blue Sox, 4-3. Starting pitcher Rick Scott played a key role in the triumph. Stephen Hollingsworth collected save number 6. The Love Boats now have a record of 35-32.

Making an impact for the home team was Mike Manley. In the bottom of the third, the 21-year old right fielder had a run-scoring ground out. That made the score 4-0, Love Boats.
